You are here: Home Welcome to Theatre 48 Horsham! Theatre 48 is Horsham’s oldest amateur drama company, established in 1948 as ‘Horsham Dramatic Club’. We are a lively, dynamic group who produce two plays a year in The Capitol Horsham, and we would love to welcome you aboard! Our rehearsals and social evenings take place in Kingslea School, Horsham (previously Chesworth), with our members having a huge variety of theatrical experience, from the professional to the committed amateur. Auditions are open to all members, regardless of experience, and rehearsal’s are fun and run to a timetable with the emphasis on putting on the professional performances the Horsham community has come to expect from us. We also hold a season of play readings throughout the summer, so that we can try new plays and give everyone the opportunity to act, regardless of nerves! So whether your interests lie on the stage or behind the scenes, we would love to hear from you!
