A BIT ABOUT US

Theatre 48 is Horsham’s oldest amateur drama company, established in 1948 as Horsham Dramatic Club.  We are a lively, dynamic and friendly group who produce two plays a year.  We perform at the Capitol in Horsham, Warnham Village Hall and also at Kingslea School where we rehearse and get together socially.
Auditions are open to all members, regardless of experience and rehearsals are fun but also filled with opportunities to learn new skills.  We are always working towards a professional performance for the Horsham community.
We also hold a season of play readings throughout the summer so that we can try out new plays and give everybody the opportunity to act, regardless of nerves!
Full Acting members are able to take part in all aspects of the productions from directing through to all the back stage crew working on props, costumes, scenery, prompt and generally lending a hand.
Whatever your interests we would love to hear from you.  Don’t worry about your abilities or experience as you will be part of a team where learning is fun and there are experienced people to help you.
We believe everyone has a hidden talent so come and find yours with us.
